It doesn't make much sense, but dems do seem fond of trying make that angle for some reason.
Nor does it follow that one who favors a war, must support the troops that go to war.
One could support the troops and never had an opinion nor ever reach one about this or any war.
I do think those who like to pretend they support the troops by saying they support the troops and yet do things that undermine to troops are a particularly sorry lot.
