So, we are slowly learning the lesson that a highly professional military even though it's significantly smaller in numbers of personnel it can be far more effective.
And though an army of draftees has some advantages; in most circumstances particularly in regards to global security and to lesser extent the high technology of warfare a professional military has the overwhelming advantage.
