Shannon and Suni
If Shannon holds the record for women, it's also because a Shuttle flight to Mir was delayed in 1996!
It looks like some of those records were kind of not intended in the beginning!
There was a Salyut 6 flight with Soyuz 31 and cosmonauts Ryumin and Lyakhov spending 175 days in space and returning back with Soyuz 34 which had been sent empty ro return them (they didn't trust their first Soyuz after so many months in space).
Krikalev also spent 10 months in 1991 instead of 5 aboard Mir.
Now, if Suni exceeds Shannon's record, she will be the most experienced woman astronaut with all her spacewalks!
