It was a report on how the surge was working and forcing the insugents into inadequate and pathetic responses. Those responses are generally unfair, as the insurgents refuse to fight a pitched battle. However, in their desperation occasionally they are attacking isolated combat posts.

Overall, the surge has 'em on the run, however.

It's the standard Conservative stuff. The Awesome Military Power of The Good Guys is tracking down the badguys, who are fighting dirty and desperately as they continue to lose. Over and over and over.

Until somehow they've won. Without, according to Conservatives, every winning. Sort of like Vietnam.

We'll see. Bush said we'd see the results of the surge "by summer".

And, we've been promised all that and more before, haven't we?

How many times does all this stuff have to be wrong for folks to realize it's all BS? How many times do reasonable people get played for suckers before they give up?
