He was a terrific "space ambassador"

I had the chance to see Mr Schirra speak at a planitarium ages ago and I remember his talk well. He mesmerized us all and spent a good deal of time patiently answering a flood of eager questions. He seemed to especially enjoy talking to the kids.

A classy gentleman.
