I knew I shouldn't have clicked on it

because I wondered what kind of gun it was, and seeing another Google video on the Dillon gun, I googled it, and just spent the past hour researching the damn thing. And Nick, what I found makes my skin crawl.
The US is SO out of control.
This gun has the ability to fired DU (depleted uranium) at around 3,000 rounds per minute up to a mile in range. They are mounting these things on the perimeter of Lawrence Livermore Labs (to protect our plutonium there.) From where these guns are mounted, they'll be across the street from homes ans skateboarding kids.

I looked at all the pretty pictures of these bad ass guns and wondered how long before they started showing up at guns shows.
Then I wondered when our own police forces are going to have shells in >their guns issued complete with DU. Maybe we'll have tanks here for riots soon with these DU shells..CAUSE YOU CAN'T CLEAN IT UP.

INSERT TALKING HEADS, you know who you are.
Here's a tidbit for you, all (I'll be back later.)

Livermore National Laboratory
>"But a lab critic called the plan a threat to innocent men, women and children, particularly with the lab being across the street from suburban homes. A better solution would be to investigate ways to remove the plutonium and other weapons-grade nuclear materials from the lab altogether, said Marylia Kelley, head of Tri Valley Cares, a Livermore anti-nuclear group.

"There are residential homes all up and down what is the western perimeter of Livermore lab," Kelley said. "You always see children on their bicycles or skateboards ... people walking their dogs ... You can't just indiscriminately open fire."
