Gun laws are off balance.
So is the NRA.
There are so many weapons circulating that if any major disasters swept the US it would be a complete free for all where those with weapons (mostly criminals) would be stealing food, gas and money from law-abiding citizens and the police would have a difficult time subduing them.
Some of the worst crimes have been committed here with weapons.
It's too late to close the barn doors now.
