Turned on the TV this AM and there he was.

I have to say I admire him in a way. He really wants to get his message across, and tries as hard as he can to do that. And we all have a "dark side", which will pop out inappropriately if we deny we have it. He's human, and has tried too hard to be "good".

By the way, if anyone wants to donate online to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries they can at www.jsm.org. Jimmy says that while they have many operators on duty, often they are all busy and so to avoid delay you might want to donate online. And, his kid adds, it's less expensive for them if you use the 'net.

Ask God to lay on your heart how much, Jimmy adds. "Some of you went to the phone a while ago and gave $500 but the Lord told you $1,000. You didn't obey. Some of you gave $50 but the Lord told you $1,000, you didn't obey. We have to raise $1,000,000 today in order to keep coming to you. We've had to borrow money for the last few months in order to keep coming to you, and that's not God's Will. God's Will is that you support His Works."

I'm still waiting for the "Lord to lay upon my heart" anything, which is unfortunate because I enjoy watching him.

"There are a few of you who the Lord has asked to give $5,000, some of you $3,000, and some $10,000. We need $1,000,000, I've rounded it off, we need a little more but I've rounded it off. Oh Lord, I'm asking your blessings for these people, and you will give back to them many-, many-fold, that each one of these people will be blessed." (Tears while saying this.)

Damned TV. Stopped watching for years, except for football. Have basic cable for internet access, found the Discovery Channel. Last night there was something like 4 hours on the Mars rovers, and an hour on New Horizons, the Pluto mission. Watched it ALL.
