How much white clothing people in third-world countries wear? I've noticed it in Africa, South and Central America and Asia. If it were me, I'd choose a mix of gray, brown and black. Sort of like an Australian Shepherd without the white. Ever seen a dirty Australian Shepherd?
I don't think these people have washing machines and don't spend money on bleach. Pretty sure most of 'em don't, anyway. I've seen women, never men, washing clothes in streams and rivers, and not particularly pretty streams and rivers, and they for sure didn't have soap, bleach or fabric softeners. And the clothing always seems as white as my T-shirts when new.
It's a puzzlement, that's what it is.
