Not-so-Brave New World
Pretty much Dumb New World if anything. This reads like paranoid authoritarianism
Carl Persing, of Virginia ... was convicted last week of "interfering with flight attendants" between Los Angeles and North Carolina. He had reacted with irritation to a complaint that he and his girlfriend were "embracing, kissing and acting in a manner that made other passengers uncomfortable." According to assistant U.S. Attorney John Bowler, Persing will probably serve jail time.

Last month, Emily Gillette was kicked off a plane for breast feeding her baby between Vermont and New York City. A spokesman for Freedom Airlines said she declined an attendant's offer of a blanket.
A passenger on a Delta flight from LA to Salt Lake City was arrested for leaving his seat to go to the lavatory less than 30 minutes before landing (air marshals ordered all passengers to put their hands on their heads for the rest of the flight).
An Orthodox Jewish man was kicked off an Air Canada flight for praying, which attendants claim was making other passengers nervous.
And Seth Stein, returning from holidays in the Bahamas, was put in a choke-hold and pinned to his seat by another passenger on an American Airlines flight. He had used an iPod, gone to the lavatory and had a tan which made him "look Arab."
