re: Not-so-Brave New World

Possible jail time for ""embracing, kissing and acting in a manner that made other passengers uncomfortable"??
Hmm...the call of nature. Maybe they should have made way to the cabin toilet? Nah, saw a picture of them. One would have a hard enough time getting in. Still, didn't anyone teach them common decency?
Oh, I know...they were exhibitionists!

Breastfeeding without a blanket on an airplane? Tacky. Really tacky.
She should have just taken the blanket from the attendent.
I breastfed both my kids in public. Used a blanket. Very few were the wiser. I can tell you, I wouldn't have wanted to be sitting in her row.

Going to the restroom cabin on a flight 30 minutes before landing? Have done it myself on descent. I think those air marshalls are paranoid, or maybe they have a quota to make, or are looking to get a name for themselves. Maybe one wanted to impress one of the stewardesses?

Praying while flying? Someone should have offered him a valium; maybe he was scared to death if he hadn't flown before. Maybe he's a bit wacko. Did they ask him to stop? I wouldn't want to be sitting in his row either.

The last one, the guy coming back from the Bahamas looking "Arab"
who was put in a choke-hold and pinned to his seat by another passenger; there wasn't enough information on what really happened.
What did they do to the guy who initiated the choke-hold?
Sounded like he had been drinking.

Planes and passengers have to court their best behaviour in a claustrophobic environment. It's amazing there's not more trouble.I used to enjoy flying, but not anymore. Long lines, uneven security, delays, lay-overs, high prices, packed like sardines with odd characters.
Thank God I don't have to do it for business.
