Obviously you weren't reading very carefully. The article specifically addressed the Bush cabinet vs the Clinton Cabinet. Clinton broke the mold of one black in a meaningless cabinet position, but FAR more importantly Clinton was the first president to appoint great numbers of blacks and minorities to non-Cabinet positions throughout the government. THAT, to answer your question, is what Clinton did to help black Americans. He wasn't just style, there was substance. Get it yet? That's something Bush hasn't done. But oh yes, Bush to his credit has appointed a very diverse group to his cabinet! All different types of Fundamentalist Christians! Unfortunately very little diversity in thought.
Tom, I suggest you give up on trying to paint Clinton as a racist. You might as well be trying to argue Al Gore is a lobbyist for the oil companies. It makes you sound like you will deliberately lie for a partisan point, or worse, are just plain stupid. I know you are not the latter.
Btw, nice job side-stepping the point on the respective demographics of each party. Care to try that one again? The point was about demographics of an entire party, not a few cabinet appointments or what Clinton did. Got it? Demographics. Are you reading me?
Go ahead and have the last word on this, just be careful because you have already made yourself look pretty bad here.
