A few notes:
The boy's mother has had a long history of proven health problems, one lethal one cured only by a similar operation back in the early 1990s.
The same doctors you're talking about missed the problems entirely back then, even after their examinations. The problem was revealed during the operation.
Incidentally, these doctors are currently working with Mr. Iran, who is burning up with fever and tumors, and have declared that they can fix everything by writing a bunch of medical papers on the subject.
