A real answer.

Based on a Dictionary.com definition.

"1.to dig or get out of the earth; dig up."

I would say: You would not use the word unearth.

Dirt is dirt everywhere in the Universe, but the word "unearth" refers specifically to Earth Dirt from the planet Earth.

The word was created way back when thoughts of life forms digging on others worlds was not seriously considered, so all dirt digging would be presumably be done on Earth.

It parallels the words "Inhumane" and "Human Rights."

Earth worms are always Earth Worms, they are a species from Earth no matter what planet they are born on they originated on Earth.

You wouldn't call baby Mauvian Waouls Martian Waouls just because they were born on Mars.

I suppose if the worms evolved some or were genetically changed on Mars to be a new sub species they could be called Mars worms.
