That if we invaded Iraq, THIS would happen:

1) Anarchy and the territorial breakup of Iraq

2) Region-threatening instability in key Arab states

3) A surge of global terrorism against US interests fueled by (militant) Islamism

4) Major oil supply disruptions and severe strains in the Atlantic Alliance.

So why did Bush and Cheney make the call against all odds, all the millions protesting worldwide and all the advice of their intelligence analysts??

Because they COULD, because they had the power and they ignored the very people who put them in power. SDAI, Tom, REB and all of the rest of you conservatives who support this "war", would you, WITH THIS INFORMATION in your hands.......gone ahead and invaded Iraq?
