The "dissenting" opinion at the end contains this revealing piece of information (page 204): on a straight party-line vote, the Democrats in this group vetoed including the members of the Intelligence Committees on the long and involved distribution list included in this report.
The Democrats have done a hell of a lot of work trying to hide the fact that their members on the Intelligence Committees had access to the same intelligence information prior to the war as the administration--Rockefeller is a major offender in this--and this is just another part of that.
Unfortunately, the members of these Committees are largely a matter of public record. Did Rockefeller think nobody would notice that HE had read this all back then, and still did or said nothing?
