IBNN says it wants to highlight the difficulties faced by kidney sufferers in getting donor organs as a tribute to BNN founder Bart de Graaff who died of kidney failure five years ago, despite several transplants.
In France, Gregory , the Star Ac winner, died and the whole country mourned him. Right after, many people volunteered to donate their lungs if they died. Unfortunately, there were not enough donors to save the young boy.
Both cases show how difficult it is to find donors. In France, for instance, a statement is needed.
