While I haven't given it a lot of thought, I believe there could be valid mechanisms for receiving money for organs with the proper laws to prevent abuse.
For example, you are free to sell your own car in this country, but not to pick someone else's car off the street and sell it. "Stealing" organs would still be stealing.
The "kidneys stolen" thing is an urban myth.
