"progressive" is just the latest fuzzy euphemism the collectivist/socialist Left has generated to try and fog over their history and beliefs. Like someone who writes bad checks keeps having to change their name.
"Progressive" sounds good, and fools the yokels. Oddly, when you go down the list of their policies, they haven't changed much since they used to be honest enough to call themselves socialists.
