Insurance companies are for-profit organizations. Whether it's health care, workmans' compensation, auto or home insurance, they are finding "legal" ways to shave off their expenses FOR PROFIT at the expense of the injured, dying, or homeless (after a disaster). It's not really "insurance" you pay for; it's more like "fraud".

I was injured at work several years ago and was refused further treatment as my condition got worse. I lost my health insurance because of reduced hours. I have lost wages, expenses for care and medication, can no longer work a regular job and am in constant pain. The insurance company refused me an MRI and therapy.
We had to take them to court to even treat me, which was a lengthly and debilitating process.

And we go back again next month because they are denying and stalling again. They change adjusters every week and don't return phonecalls. Some doctors won't even take insurance cases anymore because they are having trouble getting paid or end up in court being harrased by savvy insurance lawyers (and they are the cruelest, meanest bastards in the whole wide world and I hope they rot in Hell).

As you can see by the video, some people even die because of them. Think I'll send a copy of the video when it's released to my lawyer.
It's about high time someone exposed them. Good for Michael Moore.
