I have no answer to your question, but…

I did take your advice, looked it up and found that there are various questions that still need to be answered about those clouds.

Another NASA spacecraft named AIM is orbiting Earth now on a mission to discover the underlying causes of these mysterious clouds.

On a separate note: Why do people think that objects “glow” when they are radioactive?

Does it have something to do with “radium” dials on watches and clocks or the glow of the water in the storage tanks that hold the spent uranium from nuclear power plants?
