If you use the Google Chrome browser go to "Settings" > "Advanced Settings" > "Privacy" > "Content Settings". Scroll down to "plug ins" and change "Run all plugin content" to "click to play"

Videos and audio will not start w/o your permission. There will be a gray screen with a puzzle piece you'll have to click to view/listen........ at YOUR discretion.
