I have this one carbon atom that was once part of a T-Rex’s heart. This oxygen atom over here in this water molecule in my eyeball was once part of a water molecule that was in the iceberg that sunk the titanic. Oh… and this iron atom in my blood over here was once in a knife that Ghengis Kahn.
If our atoms could talk, what stories they could tell as they have journeyed around the Earth (and Solar System).
One of my many science fiction writing I am working on evolves scientist learning that atoms leave a path as they travel. Using this data, and some advanced technology, they are actually able to see the past in accurate detail. Suddenly no secrete is safe. All crimes are solved within a 100% certainly. All questions in the past can be answered. No one’s secrets are safe.
If I can get it done, it should be an interest book.
