Apollo 13

Jody — 7/1/2007 4:05:38 PM (archived)

I just finished watching Apollo 13 yesterday...only my 2nd time since 1995. I wanted to say that it meant exponentially more to me this time because of all you here at the Space Sciences Board. I see through more enlightened eyes, wonderment and amazement that they were EVER able to pull it off... Then I trailed off in thought about when we landed on the Moon....and even though I am a bit slow on the uptake at times, I do eventually *get it*. I am in total disbelief that we pulled that off, too...so very long ago, all things considered. We RULE!!...and I Thank You!!

I have questions:

What is/are your favorite mission/s ...
What part would you have wanted to partake in ....astronaut...NASA ground crew...rocket designer...had you been able?

To Moderator Podrock: If this is an inapproriate post for this forum, please put it where it belongs. ThankYou
