Good grief.

Of course you didn't even know what he did exactly to warrant the obstruction of justice charge, since it wasn't detailed in the articles of impeachment.

As I had to point out to you, the OoJ charge was based on the fact Clinton attempted to invoke Executive Privilege to not go before a grand jury. This was a LEGAL avenue but of course the foaming at the mouth republicans were looking for anything to pin on Clinton since they had nothing of substance.

I linked to the details. You weren't interested. If you had been you would have noted that "executive privilege" was nowhere in the final charges, or the specifics of the final charges. Some people had tried to add it during the original creation of the charges but it was pointed out that there was no legal problem with Clinton's use of executive privilege, and that the justification invoked for trying to charge Clinton on that basis ("executive privilege should only apply to official functions") didn't really hold up.

Clinton was never impeached for using executive privilege, and you agree that Bush has committed no crime either.

We done?
