Thanks Jody, I just started reading this thread. I appreciate the comments. I have fallen down so many times, I should have kneepads by now.
However, my gold boxing gloves are hanging over the fireplace.

After being let down by many in my life that I thought I could trust, I too, am an "island". It's so much easier to "do it yourself". (Tiresome as well, because that includes repairing plumbing, cutting the lawn AND paying all the bills).
It's lonely at times, but I have a great support system in my friends. Just keep on trucking and never EVER give up!
