That seemed like an impasse (a gridlocked thought or sorts) or a goodbye.
Usually when something like that is posted it is meant as a farewel, but I think it's more of an impasse or sorts. I've done the same. :)

Oh, about that 'No Man Is An Island' thing. To contradict that thought, I've always believed that we are indeed islands and it all depends on what the tide brings.
