Even though it's absolutely justified on legal grounds, I think it would be more damaging to the GOP to leave Bush in as an albatrose.

Further, it might even be damaging to the foundations of our government and constitution to have 2 presidents in a row impeached.

The GOP acted extremely irresponsibly by WAY dumbing down impeachment in their seething, foaming at the mouth hatred of Bill Clinton. This along with the 2000 election mess have shaken some of the confidence many Americans feel about their government structure. I'm glad the Dems are acting far more reasonably even though the charges against Bush are far more serious than Clinton's by quantum degrees.
