Houston, KSC and the path of the hurricane
I can understand why rockets are launched from Florida and historically, president Johnson wanted the mission control center in Texas.....but now you have BOTH places exposed to hurricanes which are going to become more numerous and more dangerous.
Isn't anybody aware of this and ready to do something about it? For instance make the MCC smaller, mobile or even located on different places? And the launch site? Well, make a deal with ESA and Kourou?
