Speaking of Moby Dick
I once read he was working on a play based on that novel, about an
astronaut blinded by a comet (don't ask me how) who was on a mission
to hunt down and destroy the ancient block of ice.
Did it ever come to fruition?
Bradbury was an early favorite of mine, too. Loved Sound of Thunder,
of course, and many of his Martian Chronicles. I felt the man's prose
was almost poetry.
Had a great if now unPC response to technical critics - he hit them. :^)
His MC works are now on their way to Mars aboard Phoenix.
