The way I see myself:

First of all I want to be pragmatic. Second I am a skeptic by nature and I probably tend to be too often cynical.

I am not an idealist.
I am more optimistic than realist but I am fatalistic about the outcome of most things.
I am not much of a spiritualist but I think that spiritualism can be healthy and helpful for some.
I am no stoic. I have a difficult time with authority, and everyone usually knows how I feel. (however I can turn this off in a poker game :)

Stoic doesn't seem like you.

I think liberals are neccessarily idealistic but not neccessarily spiritual. I tend to think that pragmatic is a bad word to liberals, while all the other qualities are mix and match.
