Arrogant?
I'm not so sure Mr. Shatner actually has that trait. He resorts to way too much self-deprecating humor to be called that. I think he just knows that the arrogance of the parts he's accepted is his bread and butter. The interviews I've seen with him show him to be a very nice and humble man who actually makes fun of the role life has thrust him into.
