Looks as if someone didn't close that door, left a big plastic bag hanging out of it. Without using a stick, I don't know how a bear could open those doors.

Backpackers in many areas are required to carry a bear canister. One is supposed to put their food and odorous objects in it, then put it at least 100 yards away from where you sleep. The bears can find it but allegedly can't get in. Oddly enough, it's a bit difficult for people to get into, also. Most models of these things have become obselete over time as the bears figure them out. They're smart and strong.

So far they've only batted this model around, haven't gotten in. Yet.

I have two of the larger ones, but bears don't like dogs and I haven't had any problems with them. Yet.
