Got it

(x-14)2 = 7x + 760

Expand the l.h.s.:

x2 - 28x + 196 = 7x + 760

Subtract the r.h.s. from both sides to get the quadratic form:

x2 - 35x - 564 = 0

I had to look up the quadratic formula, because it's been so long...

x = [-b ± (b2 - 4ac)1/2] / 2a

In this equation, a = 1, b = -35, c = -564, therefore

x = [35 ± ((-352 + (4 x 564))1/2] / 2

x = (35 ± 59) / 2

x = ±47

Meaning either you were born in 1960, or will be born in 2054.

So... how'd you come up with the equation in the first place?
