The same thing that killed my father
Pancreatic cancer. It's what also killed Michael Landon. I can't see that they've made much progress is treating it in the 33 years since my Dad died of it.
He had a wondrous set of vocal chords. I enjoyed listening to him on occasion. And I detest opera for the most part.
