I just read a piece about Osama Bin Laden comparing and contrasting his style with that of Hitler. The author deduced that they were both master stategists that only appear to be lunatics. One major point they made was that Bin Laden can be quiet and introspective in his addresses because of the power of media distribution where Hitler had to be the raving, loud pontificator to get the message out in a society largely devoid of television and media.

Today, instead of the huge gatherings of ditto-heads in public squares they sit mesmerized cursing at their car radios while stuck in traffic jams.
