Referedum?
Referenda?
Plebiscite?
Whatever you may want to call it; isn't it time
that the voters decide if they want nuclear power or not?
Why is it that a few thousand GREENPEACE, SIERRA CLUB
members [with their ACLU friends] are dictating to governments what to do when it comes to nuclear power?
Shouldn't that decision rest with the TENS of MILLIONS of voters?
Shouldn't those voters decide whether they want to keep burning COAL, NATURAL-GAS, etc., to generate electricity?
Or choose to expand NUCLEAR POWER output and facilities [with greatly increased safety improvements devised by engineers since 1979; read the POPULAR MECHANICS back-issue on safer nuclear powerplant designs].
Oh yes!... Radioactive waste from those plants?
SOLUTION:
There is an area in Nevada where hundreds of nuclear devices
were detonated underground...Perfect place to keep radioactive waste,
because it is already highly-radioactive.

Maybe it's time to take the nuclear-power issue to the voters.
