Space/Science » in reply to Julian or Gregorian?

re: Sure know how to throw a wet blanket...

in the Julian Calendar he was born on September 5th, but we add 12 days for reasons I will not go into here to that date to make it Gregorian since it was between 1800 and 1900.

So toasting the old fart yesterday was correct. But, I'm willing to make a toast all month long for the old man of spaceflight. We give honor to Wolfgang and Ludwig over the whole month of their birth so why not Konstantin?
