Even in the Middle Ages they recognized the overabundance of religious
relics. One person remarked how there were enough pieces of the True
Cross to make a whole forest.

But since there are still plenty of people who see Jesus on pancakes and
tree trunks, even a stern warning from the Vatican ain't gonna stop 'em.

Is it still the Middle Ages?
