Generally good analysis but
Muslims do not generally view Christianity as monotheistic. The holy trinity of father, son and holy ghost is clearly polytheism and muslims see it for what it is. (no amount of explanation by christians about a schizophrenic god adequately explains this. Consider the passage, "Jesus sits at the right hand of god.") Throw in the catholic cult of the virgin and you have four deities. Throw in the hundred and thousands of angels and archangels and cherubs and other heavenly inhabitiants and you have quite a pantheon of characters.
Muslims historically have had more respect for jews because their religion is considered monotheistic.
