While it may not have been officially announced, enough evidence has accumulated that the burden of proof is actually on the "no weapons" side.
Unlike some people, I see a difference in Israel having such weapons and someone like Saddam or Iraq's current leadership having them. In much the same way as I see a difference in walking into a bank and seeing a guard with a gun at his side, or a bank robber with one.
