That's some useful additional information, and the conservatives definitely jumped the gun on some issues, particularly the private school. I should know better than to post something like this in early stages of the story. I still have some questions. What were the sources of the scholarships? Were they because of the accident? Our car insurance has medical payment coverage. Do they have car insurance?

Remember that the issue here is not scrapping the SCHIP--nobody has proposed that anywhere. The issue, which the Democrats are doing their best to confuse, is the Democrats expanding coverage far beyond the income and age categories that were eligible under the old version.

The Frost family was already eligible for the SCHIP program, in its current form. Not sure what the whole point of pulling Graeme up as a "Little Billy" was.

As for "swiftboating" the Democrats, plenty of the dirt will be real, just like Kerry's post-war behavior was real, but the Democrats will still call it "swiftboating."
