Why wait 150 years?

Because it should be left up there as a tribute to the early space pioneers, rather than
having to sit in a museum gathering dust any sooner than necessary.

I am even more interested in finding out what happened to Surveyors 2 and 4 and the
Soviet Mars landers numbers 2, 3, and 6.
