Imagine. If Dan Rather had a "press conference" talking about how great his network was and the only people there asking questions were employees.

Or if Hillary Clinton had a "press conference" which discussed how great her health plan was and the questions came from people who were NOT identified as her campaign workers.

Conservatives would be screaming their guts out. Neocons would be hollaring to the sky about the biased media. Proof positive of a great liberal plot.

As it is, we just expect this level of honesty, candor and integrity from Bush & Co. It's normal. If one wants to know what's happening one has to listen to the White House, the DoD, or the State Department and recognize that's what they want us to believe and is unrelated to what is reality.

And as it is, Conservatives simply regard it as business as usual, shouldn't have gotten caught.

One has to laugh or cry. Or both.

As the LA Times op-ed said, forget impeachment, get the straightjacket ready for Bush and Cheney.
