You'd better tell SDAI (see post below), he's rapidly approaching a state of electron degeneracy, which is the precursor to catastrophic runaway core collapse.

On a lighter note, I was particularly interested in your comments on my observation that the over-the-top culture depicted in the film has an effect on some of its audience similar to that our culture might have on people who haven't grown up with it like we have. It's not just third world types, but some older Americans view our popular culture in a state of total shock and disbelief, and I'm getting old enough now that I'm starting to get similar feelings myself. Things are changing so fast that we are all becoming immigrants in our own country, time travelers in our own century. "Wake up and face the strange...ch-ch-ch changes"

The game show host character played by that young black actor is not that different from some of our present-day celebrities. The man is unendurably annoying, and if he achieved that effect deliberately, he's a damned good actor. Bruce Willis is, well, Bruce Willis.
