Bradbury story about too much technology

There is a Ray Bradbury story about a pyschiatrist who visits a
patient at a mental hospital. Seems he was incarcerated for
destroying all the gadgets his futuristic society deemed he needed
to help him get through the day.

Basically the various machines spent all day telling him about
upcoming appointments, trivial facts, etc., and the guy finally
had enough and went about creatively stopping them. He
actually enjoyed his stay in the asylum because nothing was
talking to him. The psychiatrist leaves thinking the man a
poor, deluded fool as he simultaneously listens to his watch
reminding him of his next appointments...

I liked The Fifth Element. Derivative as hell, sure, but well done
and enjoyable. My favorite scene was Jojovich's character beating
the crap out of some alien bad guys as the opera diva sang.

And yes, she does need a cheeseburger. Some of us like women
with curves.
