Hi Larry & all

There's a small chance that Mercury will be perturbed into an escape orbit over the next billion years, so we're not done with wandering planets yet.

The other thought is that we're not too sure when Mercury lost its mantle in a near planet-shattering collision - perhaps we've been looking at Planet V's handiwork without realising it?
