The past couple of years I have set up dream goals and have worked hard to get them.
And they are happening. Everytime I pass another milestone, I am reminded of my focus and my passion and drive. It hasn't come easy.

And I've reflected back on the two men in my life that I truly loved, and what went wrong.
My expectations were on THEM, and not myself. They were the life partners I'd hoped them to be, but both were incapable of sustaining the standards of any stable relationship. I hope the next man in my life is capable of giving and not taking. Selfishnes is destructive.

Barring ill health or accidents, we are all in the drivers' seat of our own lives. With age comes experience. All of it must be for learning.
The wheel of life. Go figure.
