As in there you go again. While that may be true of some; it certainly is not true of all. Regardless, ALL people have the right to opinions and to express those opinions unless somebody ripped up our constitution while I wasn't looking.
I know Bush is trying. He's very trying.
Elizabeth Taylor became an AIDS activist and a lot of positive things happened as a result.
There are actors, actresses who get involved with political campaigns, are dead serious about it (some Republican, some Democrat) and put their $$ where their mouths are. They are not spoiled children, but adults who are speaking out on issues in which they believe.
Your whole rant there was about Sean Pean, one actor with a checkered past. Or has Britney Spears suddenly gone political (God help us!)? Even Sean Penn has the right to have an opinion and to express it. Just because you denigrate the messenger, does not make the message invalid. You have a difference of opinion but you're on the wrong side because while that video was loaded on one side, every thing it said was true. We HAVE been lied to. Or DID they find WMD after all? Jeez. When will you quit supporting an administration that is just as rogue as Iran's.
The immature ones are the Bush supporters who are kicking their heels and whining because the majority of this country no longer believes the crap the government puts out there. Every dog has his day and that dog pissed all over the country and the constitution. I just hope we make it to January, '09 without invading Iran. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google Wesley Clark's appearance on CNN Book TV last night or read his book, "A Time to Lead."
