One of BCs costal ferries ran aground and sank last year with the loss of (miraculously only) two lives. Human error was givenas the cause, but there were credible stories of crew members having sex on the bridge when they should have been watching where they were going. Also reports of crew smoking pot (I don't have anything against pot, but not when you are supposed to be steering a ship with a hundred people on board).
